void linux updates are so slow for instance it has been 2 week since go 1.27 released, and gcc already has version 16 so i was wondering if it would be possible to add go, gcc and such and bins could be go1.27 gcc16 or with xbps-alterrntaive it could be selectred

GCC 16 would be quite complex to package. See these changes: https://github.com/void-linux/void-packages/pull/60505

We are not opposed to it but will take some work. contributions welcome.

As for Go, try using the changes here for now: https://github.com/void-linux/void-packages/pull/62134
